The following are casual play days and entertainment suggestions, not official school events. Drummond assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries.
Asthma Walk
This Drummond community service project will take place on Sunday, Oct 1 at 10 a.m.
French Drama Class
Eva Grondal, French teacher and Drummond parent, is offering a French Drama Class over Fall Intercession for up to 16 Drummond students. Classes will be held at French Academy, a learning center for adults and kids, located at 2100 N. Hoyne (at Charleston) in Bucktown. Class will be open to all ages and run from 2-5 p.m. daily for 2 weeks. Cost is $80 per child for 30 hours. On Friday, October 13th, class will conclude with a theatrical performance. All play dates will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Free days for Chicago’s Museums:
Back in the day, all Chicago museums were required by law to have one free day a week. By now, most museums have eliminated their weekly free days during the summer tourist season. The good news for residents is most free days start back up Sept 15th. Here’s a list of the big ones. See the City of Chicago website for more information, including all of the wonderful museums that are still free every day.
