Due to inclement weather, the Drummond ELC Playdate is going indoors to the Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park. Admission is free.   We will be meeting from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm.  Bring a lunch if you like and snacks to share –we will have juice boxes and snacks.  All welcome.  There is free parking adjacent to the conservatory in the Park District Lot.  The Green Line Stop for Central Park/Conservatory is directly across the street, a distance of approximately a quarter block.  There is a children’s area and awesome scenery, as well as restrooms and a community area.  Hope to see you there. There is no better spot in the city on a rainy day.   For more info, contact Alyse  at or Julie at . Or call (773) 531-2225.

Just a reminder to fill out your school portrait order forms! There are many new holiday card designs and gift items featured in the new catalog accompanying your order. All orders are due upon return from break: Tuesday October 13th.
The Drummond PTO receives a percentage of the total dollar amount of ON TIME orders only! So be sure to get your order ready and tucked into your child’s backpack for Drummond to receive the maximum amount of funds AND to insure you receive your order as quickly as possible! All Early Childhood students and siblings are invited to Wrightwood Park on 09 Oct 09 for a playdate, 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Bring a lunch if you want to picnic.  Contact Julie at or Alyse at for more info.  The weather forecast for Friday is looking good — yeah sun! –but  we will organiza a rain plan if need be.  Hope to see you there!
