looking for something different to do this weekend? check out the viaduct theater’s exhibit “exquisite city” curated by artist and hideout alum kathleen judge (she creates the wonderful hideout posters). over 40 local artists constructed a city built almost entirely out of cardboard. now through december 12th. details at www.exquisitecity.com.

The Drummond LSC Budget and Fundraising Committee will be meeting on November 14, 2008, 7:30 am, in Room 007. The meeting is open to all who are interested in attending.

Please consider giving to less fortunate families right here in your Drummond community this year. To most effectively aid Drummond families, we are asking for donations of cash* or grocery gift cards ONLY.
To make your giving go twice as far, please consider purchasing a grocery gift card through the Drummond Dollars program. Drummond Dollars gift cards are offered by Dominick’s ($25, $100), Jewel ($25, $100), Strack & VanTil/Ultra Foods ($20).
Cards may be ordered from November 5th through the 13th for delivery to you November 12- November 20th. Donations of cash or grocery cards will be collected at drop-off and pick-up until Friday, November 21st and delivered to deserving families the week of Thanksgiving.
Please hand your donations to Mary Zerkel, Lisa Wright or Cindy Nicita, OR drop them off in the office. All cash donations will be used to purchase grocery cards.

If anyone has a large, white bedsheet to project the movie on tomorrow, it would enhance our movie night and be greatly appreciated. California King or King would be ideal, but any large flat sheet would be welcome. Bring the sheet to Ms. Wheatley in the library ASAP tomorrow and e-mail me, so I know it’s taken care of.

Please join us in the Drummond Gymnasium from 6-8 pm on Thursday Nov. 6th for an all ages freindly movie presentation of KiKi’s Delivery Service! Please bring blankets and pillows for floor seating. Snacks and beverages will be sold by the Student Council. All welcome!

Please join us for coffee and conversation about the Resolution recently proposed by the LSC’s Diversity and Outreach Committee. We are also aiming to provide childcare for this meeting.
