The following volunteers have joined the early childhood teams as well:

300 & 306 are still without reps or volunteers, so unless someone wants to take that on, we will pair up with sister early childhood classes.   These early childhood reps and volunteers will be available to additionally assist room 300 and 306 with special events, fund raising and helping the teachers, parents and students.
Room 300 will partner with 100 & 101–

Rm 100: Elsa Rivera and Katrina Wittkamp
Rm 101: Vivian Barrett and Jane Boal Walther
Room 306 will partner with 104 & 107
Rm 104: Diane Gansho and Maria Sotelo
Rm 107: Marina Claudio and Bonnie Kenaz-Mara
Reps, please contact the appropriate upper grade teacher with your contact information and introduce yourselves.   Upper grades usually don’t need that much assistance, so the work load won’t be much more.   As a Drummond school family, we want to make sure all parents have parent contacts and all teachers, including Jr. High, have a ready pool of volunteers to call on.

Coaches needed.

Filed under: General and Misc — laura at 2:16 pm on Sunday, August 24, 2008

Drummond School needs parent coaches for a new Girls on the Run
afterschool program working with 6-8th grade girls. While the official program
won’t be up and “running” until next March, coaches need to undergo
one day of cpr training and commit to at least 1 night a week after
school working and running with the girls at Walsh Park. (See
GirlsOnTheRun.org for more information.)
Ms. Rejman would like to get an informal program up and running this
fall, so if you are interested in building Drummond student’s confidence
and self-esteem through a little bit of jogging, please consider
committing to coach! For more information, contact Ms. Rejman at
.
