Dear Parents,

We need your help. Kathleen Kerber has set up a wonderful afternoon full of dancing, raffles, snacks and other fun events to help support research for Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. Jump, Jiggle and Jive for Jasper (a Drummond family member) is set for February 23rd from 11am to 2pm.

We are grateful to all the families that have graciously donated to this worthy cause and we are still looking for sodas, juices, raffle donations and for lots of folks to attend. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Kerber at  When you go to register yourself and your family you can go to www.jumpjiggleandjive.com this is an easy system to navigate and won’t take but a moment to complete. Please sign up soon so that we can be well prepared with our numbers.

Thank you for giving so generously,

Mark Neidlinger

We’ve now added a calendar feature to the website to help remind you of upcoming Drummond-related events. Check it out and tell us what you think. A preview of next events is on the right side of this page and a link is provided to the full calendar. If you would like to be able to add relevant events to this calendar, send me a note at  for instructions.

The calendar is powered by Google calendar. If you have a Google calendar account, you can sign up to have automated reminders of these events. If you use Google, Outlook or any other iCal-compatible calendar software, you can have events in the Drummond calendar automatically overlayed onto your personal calendar. Give it a try. 2 Things you should know

Filed under: General and Misc — laura at 2:04 pm on Wednesday, February 13, 2008

1) Tomorrow, Valentines Day, will be an out of uniform day for all students.

2) Family Reading Night is coming up next Thursday, 2/21 from 5:00-8:00 pm.  Part of FRN is the Book Swap!  This is the perfect reason to clean off your bookshelves & clear out the books you or your little one have outgrown.  Simply bring the books you’d like to trade to the Gallery sometime next week (between Tues - Thurs).  Then while you’re enjoying Family Reading Night, head to the Art Room (room 204) to find treasures that someone else traded in.  Board books, early readers, chapter books, even novels for grown ups are welcome!

You’re invited to have a blast at PastaPalooza!
