Lottie’s Pub, 1925 W. Cortland, is sponsoring its 1st Annual Winterfest this Saturday, Dec 2 from 11am-??? with proceeds being donated to Drummond School and Toys For Tots!
Lottie’s is planning an outdoor fest complete with Miller Lite Heated Party Tent! An 80′s Cover Band is set to play at 4:00 with karaoke following. Admission will cost you $5 or an unwrapped toy! Come have a whole lot of fun at Lotties with all your friends and neighbors and support Drummond at the same time!
Thank you to all who have participated in The Wish List project to date! As you know, this is a community-wide effort to collect donations of various equipment and supplies desired by Drummond faculty but currently beyond their budgets. Our teachers really appreciate the contributions of both gift cards and donated supplies that already have been contributed.

PTO is hosting a Parent’s Night Out event on Tuesday, Dec 5th from 6:30-9:00pm at Glazed Expressions, 717 W. Armitage Ave. Glazed Expressions is a Paint-It-Yourself Pottery Place. Studio fees are $8 per person and includes all the paint, supplies, instruction, glazing and firing. Pottery is sold separately, with the average cost per person (depending on what you choose to paint) running from $20-$40.
BYO Food, Wine and other beverages are welcome for this event! Please come and enjoy the company of other Drummond Parents, Teachers and Administrators while we get creative and relax! You can RSVP here or send in your RSVP on the flyer that will be coming home in your child’s backpack!

The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming to Drummond during the week of Dec 11-15 and we need your help! We are looking for parents to set up book displays, help students shop and staff the register. If you are available for a morning or afternoon any day in the week of the 11th-15th, please leave a comment here! All the profits from this Book Sale go to enhancing the school library and media center.
Tuesday, Nov 21 at 3:00 in the Gallery is the next General meeting of the PTO. Immediately after that meeting is adjourned, a Special Meeting of the PTO will convene to briefly discuss the PTO Bylaws and to take a vote on adopting them. Please take a minute to look at the attached agenda.
