I wanted to announce that Friends of Drummond has a website up, accessible via www.friendsofdrummond.org.
This is an effort to make accessible info about the Cinco de Mayo benefit, including the ability to purchase tickets and make donations online. Please promote this website in your ongoing efforts to sell tickets and/or sponsorship of the upcoming event.

The LSC Candidates Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 6:00pm in Room 103 (Drummond School). This is your chance to hear what the candidates have to say and to question them about issues important to you.

We are looking for parent volunteers to distribute free books to all students!  If you can volunteer to read to a class, do a related spring activity or to distribute books, please leave a comment with how Laura Kuzniar can reach you!

Drummond School needs volunteers to act as judges from 7am to 5 pm during the LSC Election on April 19th. Some funds have been set aside to pay judges on LSC election day. Please contact the school at 773-534-4120 for details.

       Drummond PTO is sponsoring a fundraiser selling    4″ Pots of fresh cooking herbs:  Choose from Basil, Flat Leaf Parsley, Rosemary, Thyme and Cilantro

The cost is $3.00 per 4″ Flowerpot

Please ask your neighbors, relatives and friends to buy as many fresh herbs as they can grow!

  All orders must be prepaid in cash and are due to the Front office by Thursday, March 30th!  All plant orders will be distributed in the school on Report Card PickUp Day, Weds, April 19th!
