Buddy Families Needed For New Incoming Students

Buddy Families Needed
Hi everyone:
On April 23rd, there was a new families orientation to welcome them into the Drummond Family.  As most of you remember, this was an exciting yet overwhelming prospect.  It was exciting to be selected yet overwhelming because you had so many questions (uniforms? lunches? naps? teachers?).
To help alleviate their concerns and to provide direct communications, we are developing Drummond “Buddy” families.  We would like their first experiences with Drummond to be friendly and personal.
As a “Buddy” family we ask that you commit to 2 requests:
1, Contact your new family within a week that you get their contact info.- introduce yourself, answer questions and provide your contact info.
2, Schedule at least one play date over the summer.
If you are interested, please send me your contact info.,email address, your child’s room number, age and sex.  Please email it to me ASAP.   Once I get the new family list with room numbers, I will email to you, hopefully by the end of the school year.    We do not expect this to be too time consuming and hopefully rewarding to both families involved.
Sincerely,
Grace Kwon

Hello! My name is Christina Perez – mom to new incoming student Isabella. My family and I are new to Drummond and would very much like the opportunity to meet other parents and students. Isabella is three years old and like most others her age is excited yet cautious about what awaits her at her new “Big Kid” school. If there are any parents/children who would like to meet for a playdate please give a call at 773.454.3607 (mobile) or e-mail at

I also had one other question and was not quite sure who to ask or where to post. My husband and I have conflicting start times to that of the morning school drop off. How or what do other parents of Drummond do or have done in this situation. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks so much for creating “Buddy Families”. Thsi is a great way to communicate with one another in more ways than one!

Christina
