Luau Silent Auction: What You Need to Know

Example of some great Drummond student art at past eventsLuau is here, and with record-setting attendance expected, our committees want you to know a few things that will help make your experience the most fun and keep the event running smoothly.

First, check out all the wonderfully unique items from the Silent Auction and the rules for bidding on them in our online program book. As in the past, the highlights of this auction are wonderful teacher treasures and terrific artworks by our Drummond students.
Around 135 items are up for grabs, including these unique finds: 
  • A weeklong stay at Tom Skilling’s 2-bdrm condo in Girdwood, Alaska
  • A copy of the book “An Inconvenient Truth” autographed by Al Gore to the students of Drummond
  • Bears package including tickets and autographed Gale Sayers football
  • Party packages at places like ARCC Ballet, Dairy Queen, Cat & Mouse games store and Univ. of Chicago Film Center
  • Behind-the-scenes experiences as ‘Top Chef’ at Charlie Trotters, at WGN News, Springfield legislature, Vosges Chocolates

  • Family photography sessions

Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted for all items on site. If you plan on paying by credit card, we ask that you help make the checkout faster for everyone by pre-filling out a payment form available onlineWhen you arrive at Luau, turn in your form and get your card swiped to help reduce our checkout lines at the end of the evening.
