Luau 2009 Family Sponsorship

(Ignore if this is a duplicate; my apologies for any inconvenience.)
A huge thank you to the many Drummond families and others who have agreed to sponsor this year’s Big Event, Luau 2009.  So far, over 25 families have committed amounts ranging from $250 all the way up to $2,000, and commitments are still coming in.  Especially in view of the down economy, every dollar really counts, and I am truly honored to be part of such a generous community of families!  One by one, through your tremendous leadership, you are helping to create a culture of giving at Drummond.  Thank you!

Please make arrangements to remit your sponsorship payment as soon as possible.  Checks should be made out to Friends of Drummond and mailed c/o Monica Lasky to 1836 N. Honore, Chicago, IL 60622 (or just put in an envelope with all of your contact info and dropped in my locked home mailbox right across the alley from the school).

If you haven’t yet joined our family sponsorship campaign, please consider doing so.  Every sponsorship dollar goes directly to Drummond!  (A $250 sponsorship includes two event tickets, valued at $50 each — a terrific bargain!)

If sponsorship is beyond your means this year, there are many, many other ways you can support the Luau — from selling $5 raffle tickets to collecting items for the Silent Auction to volunteering to help with day-of set up.  Every dollar you raise or donate and every minute you volunteer truly matters.  Again, from the bottom of my heart — and on behalf of the children of Drummond - thank you!

Monica Lasky, President, Friends of Drummond and Big Event Sponsorship Committee Co-Chair
